Abstract (EN)
One of the greatest rival for leadership perception in the world is changingInformation million times in a second. Nowadays traditional power has beendisappeared exclusively. The importance of information is increasing for officialproductivity. Authority's acceptability has been questioning. Leader's position in thischanging power and his attitudes has been compelled to have transforming thequalifıcation beyond contingency.In this research it was focused to determine the leadership styles perceived bypilots in Army Aviation and the level of the relation for job satisfaction. Besides this,pilot's general job satisfaction and its sub factor and their demographic variants;pilots perception of leadership styles; and depending on pilots perception ofleadership styles, between leadership styles and general job satisfaction, and its subfactor level of differences were examined.In this research, there had been used two different questionnaires. From thesequestionnaire "Multifactor Leadership Questionnaire" Multifactor leadershipquestionnaire include 36 questions and three main factors. Depending on three mainfactors there are three sub-factors named as "Transformational Leadership"; thereare three sub-factors named as "Charismatic-Inspirational Leadership", "Intellectualstimulation" and "Individualized Consideration". in the "Transactional Leadership"factor there are also three sub factor named as "Contingent Reward", "Management-by Exception-active", " Management-by Exception-passive" and main factor of"Laissez-faire leadership". Another questionnaire that was used was " Jobsatisfaction Questionnaire". include 64 questions and six main factors. These twoquestionnaires were applied participants and its results were analyzed in SPSS.13.0program.As a result of analyses, between job satisfaction of army aviators and theirperception of leadership behaviour, there was positive relation to "TransformationalLeadership" dimension and its sub-factors. "Transactional Leadership" dimensionand its sub-factors, there was less positive relation. Between "Laissez-faireleadership" dimension and job satisfaction there is negative relation.
