Abstract (EN)
This survey searches for the best pattern forms for training uniforms of woman officers in Turkish army. So that these women can move easily in their tarining uniforms at time of education with weapons. A questionnaire is applied to 73 of whole 197 women officers at the beginning.(first test). For preparing standart size charts every 197 body measurements were taken. After research, it is conculeded that jackets and trousers of training uniforms are longer and larger for women officers. Also standart size tables are prepared by using SPSS statistical program. Pattern forms of training uniform for woman officers are prepared by using standart size tables to find a solution fort he complaints of women officers about the dress. 49 samples are prepared from 7 size with 7 drops. Sizes are 39,42,45,48,51,54,57 with the drops A,B,C,D,E,F,G dresses made by using new patterns are then worn by the officers, questionnaire applied before. A new questionnaire is applied to find out the results and difference (last test). As a result of meaningful relation between the first and the last test found out by wilcoxon test, new uniforms with new patterns seem to be much suitable fort he women officers? sizes.
