Abstract (EN)

This study was performed to evaluate the relationship between biochemical parameters and low temperature tolerance, and to determine the low temperature tolerance of the buds that was took at the six different sampling dates, belonged to the acclimation, hardening and de-acclimation phases of the Karaerik grape variety during 2015-2016 winter period. The tolerance levels of the primary buds by doing the analysis such as bud lipid peroxidation (MDA), total carbohydrate, total soluble protein, ascorbate peroxidase (APX), peroxidase (POX), superoxide dismutase (SOD), polyphenoloxidase (PPO), hydrogen peroxide (H2O2), siglent oksijen (O2-) with the temperature data of low and high temperature exotherms were determined in this research. The mHTE data, showed that ice forming between cells, as -4,00°C to -9,80°C, mLTE data that showed %50 of primary buds death as the results of intra-cell freezing between -6,20°C to -12.70°C, in the winter buds of the variety were reported. Also, the relationship between the protein (r= -0,433), carbohydrate (r= -0,486), O2-.(r= -0,515), POX (r= 0,586), MDA (r= -0,490) that included to the winter buds and mLTE that indicated the intra-cell freezing was significant, but the relationship between H2O2 content, SOD, PPO, APX activity and mLTE was non-significant. As a result, we think that the low temperature tolerance of winter buds determined at different periods will be probable to forecast more realistic damage for the variety and, thanks to this, it should be attend to solve this problem and/or do application for solving this problem. Furthermore, intervention application to protein, carbohydrate, superoxide radical and peroxidase related to intra-cell freezing temperature will be effective for the preventing and /or decreasing of low temperature damage. This study explained that results for the production of different varieties at the different ecological and climate condition have increased in the credibility and correctness of our results.
