A study on Hayriyye-i Nabi in terms of character and values education

Education is the extraction of national values and interests for those who plan millet education. In its interaction with life as social life, some values emerge and this is social life. are colored with markings and colors on their maps. There are characters and values for fine tuning. As values degenerate and degenerate, society degenerates. Nâbî, one of the 17th century serials of the classical Turkish character, is the same 17th Turkish greatest representation. Although the Ottoman Empire experienced a loss of power in the economic, political and administrative sense in this century, it is seen that it continued its power in terms of literary activities. Nâbî, who is the poet of a century that was in crisis in all aspects, sees moral collapse and corruption of values as the reason for the conditions of his age. Character and values education is an issue that has been emphasized recently and its importance is increasing. Its roots are in our traditions and our past, its trunk and branches are fed from these roots and reach our day and tomorrow. Our national values, which constitute our unique basic human characteristics, are an issue that should be introduced and taught to our generations. The information contained in these works is considered as the source of the power that provides self-confidence in coping with the problems we face in the routine flow of our lives today, as it was in the past. In the work called Hayriyye-i Nabi, the ideal human type character from the past and kneaded and shaped in Islamic culture is drawn. It is important to determine to what extent and how this character and values education, which we want to teach our children today, takes place in the studied work, in terms of knowing and understanding the basis of today's society values. Hayriyye-i Nabi will be examined with the characteristics of character and values education it contains, and a study will be conducted showing how it can contribute positively to the personal characteristics of the individual and what character and values education will add to the individual.
