Characters and problem the problem of Turkish cartoon characters universalization

One of the most important products that have been develpoped by human mind are fiction characters. Caharacters that are designed according to the era?s needs, also served for being a reflecting substasnce of the social, cultural, economical and political state of that time and directed societies especially by effecting them in an intellectual way. Since the first ages, very few characters became independent and universal. Universal characters like these, which created the character norms of their eras, also were basic stimulants of the creation of new characters. The reason why most of the Classical (Universal) characters, as in many areas of the western countries have an firstly important role, is their creation to be in the western countires, where it was earlier shifted to the written culture. As in many areas, also in the worls of characters, these culturally exported products took at a firstly important place. For this reason, it will be useful to investigate the literatural and especially drawing based universal characters created in the western civilizations in the meaning of the understanding of their universal criterias. The defined measurements, especially when compared to those which are local and created in the globe of Turkish drawings, will try to be effective in the determination of the problem of the universality of the Turkish cartoon caracters.
