Özet (EN)
The study area covers Seyhan and Çatalan Dams, Seyhan, Zamantı, GöksuRivers, Çakıt, Eğlence, Üçürge, Körkün Streams and tributaries of these main waterresources. A geographic information system design as a decision support system toolis studied which includes water resources database at a scale of 1/25000. Stream,snow and water quality gauging stations are also included in the system. With thehelp of the developed decision support system, length and enclosed areameasurements and path profiling are possible. Bathymetric maps of Seyhan Dambelonging to the years 1966, 1971, 1976, 1980, 1986 and 1991 are digitized.Digitized map of year 2005 and digitized maps of these years are used to createDigital Elevation Model (DEM) of Seyhan Dam. 3D views of models are used toinvestigate sediment accumulation of the reservoir.Keywords: Geographic information system , Seyhan Dam, Decision support system,Lower Seyhan Basin, Sediment accumulation mapsII
