Karatepeli Hüseyin b. Mustafa el-Aydînî and his work Sharhu Resâlat al-İstiârah

Theme of this study is Karatepeli Hüseyin b. Mustafa el-Aydînî and his work ?Sharhu Resâlat al-İstiârah?.Our study consists of an introduction and three chapters.In the introduction, we have given some information about eloquence, it?s birth and development and stages, it?s relation with other sciences, during history.İn the first chapter, we have given some information about art of tropes.In the second chapter, we have tried to give information, firstly about political, economical and educational situation, and then the life of author where he lived, inwhich institutions he worked and his scientific works. Here we, also, presented some knowledge about the copies of Sharhu Resâlat al-İstiârah.In the third chapter, we analyzed the text, in the last we prepared an index which consists of themes, verses, hadith, names of people, places, poems and proverbs.
