Özet (EN)
By means of highway traffic data collected using spot measures on vehicle anddefinite time interval basis; peak hour factors considering 5 and 15 minuteintervals, and developed new peak factors using the same approach on peakhour factor such as peak day; peak weekday, peak weekend, peak all week andpeak month factors, and their relationships among them have been studied. With the same data, volume, speed and density relations on highway sectionhave been treated. Besides; changes in number of vehicles, vehicular speeds andweights and their compositions have been examined and evaluated in case, thelocation of the spot measures is replaced. In addition, highway section measuresfor duration of 7 days and 24 hours on every season and the continuous datacollection stations have been compared and some measures or propositions havebeen produced to minimize differences realised.Science Code : 624.04.00Key Words :Traffic, spot, characteristics, WIM, flow, peak, factorPage Number: 217Adviser :Assit.
