Abstract (EN)
In this study, pure Cadmium Oxide (CdO) and Graphite-doped CdO nanoparticles (1%, 5%, 10%) by weight were produced by the sol-gel synthesis method. The sol-gel nanoparticle synthesis process was carried out in a magnetic stirrer at 80°C for 4 hours. X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) diffraction patterns of the synthesized CdO and Gr doped nanoparticles were performed in CuKα (λ = 1.5406 ˚A) radiation with a scanning range of 2θ = 20 to 80° and 40 kV/40 mA. The morphologies and chemical compositions of the nanoparticles were examined by Field Emission scanning Electron Microscope (FE-SEM) and Energy Dispersive X-ray spectrometry (EDX) analyses, respectively. The XRD analysis results showed that CdO retained its characteristic peaks, and with the addition of graphite, shifts in the peak values and increases in their intensities were observed. In addition to the characteristic peaks of pure CdO in the composite samples, the characteristic peak of Gr was observed at 26.4466° 2θ and it was determined that this peak corresponded to the (002) plane. In FE-SEM analysis, it was seen that CdO nanoparticles were formed on graphite plates. In EDX analysis, it was seen that Cd, O and C contributions were formed in the nanocomposite structure and the amount of C increased with the increase of Gr contribution. As a result, the results showed that Gr-doped CdO nanoparticles were successfully produced and the composites were found to have high purity cubic structure. According to the dielectric analysis results, it is thought that the nanocomposite particles produced can be a rival material to pure CdO nanoparticles in semiconductor devices and electronic devices, and the nanocomposite particles produced offer great potential for electronic device applications.
