Özet (EN)

Nowadays, structures are damaged due to many reasons. Strengthening of the damagedstructures have become one of the issues that are developing rapidly all over the world. The useof Carbon Fiber Reinforcement techniques developed to use in building construction andstrengthening reinforced concrete structures.In this study, the using of the carbon fiber Reinforced Polimers (CRFP) on the strengthof concrete specimens and reinforced concrete structures is to compare samples from the core inthe laboratory. In addition, carbon fiber with using epoxy adhesive, which is the same concretestandard by applying a different experiment on the samples subjected to different windingtechniques. As a result of these experiments, concrete core samples which have low concretestandarts are showed better performance and strengthening than concrete samples which havehigh concrete standarts. And also the test result of strengthened specimens indicated that, theinvestigated repair and strengthening technique contributed to the ductility, strength and energydissipation charecteristics of the specimens.In the first chapter in detail the purpose and scope of the study indicated.The second part studies mentioned earlier in this topic.The third section covers knowledge of materials and experimental study.Experimental results of this experimental study are given in chapter Four.The fifth chapter is the discussion on this issue and evaluates the results of this studyKey Words: Carbon Fiber, Concrete, Srength, Ductility
