Abstract (EN)

Plastic forming methods based on the permanent deformation of the metal-based materials that have some characteristics are regarded to be among the most successful applications of the theory of plasticity, because of the fact that they enable the relation between the stress and deformation to be studied in various conditions. On the other hand, when the pot-shaped parte are considered to be manufactured from planar-metallic sheet steel plates, deep drawing, which is one of these methods, finds itself a distinct place and an application field due to the labour economics, its easy application and some similar factors. In spite of its importance, some mathematical explanation of many engineering problems about both the sheet iron process methods and the deep drawing haven't been made so far. Therefore, plastic forming methods form an engineering problem group, which is an interesting subject for the people who are interested in it in academic standards and it is waiting to be sold and combining the theory and application successfully. In the scope of the study, in which the factors mat have effects on deep drawing in carbonised steel were studied, some general information was given about deep drawing that is a manufacturing process whose basis depends on the plastic deformation of metals. Besides, some explanations about exceptional situations, which often appear during the manufacturing process and affect the realization of the method, were studied. Furthermore, mechanical based factors that have to be considered during the preparation and application phases and the heat treatment that can be applied before and during the manufacturing were studied theoretically to get the optimum output from the manufectures, which are aimed to be produced by using this method in its application phase. To make the study concrete; the stiffening, grain orientation and similar material incidents that occur after the process, in the various geometrical working parts obtained by the deep drawing method and the variations caused by these parts in some mechanical features like tensile strenght, flow limit, hardness and in various parts were studied experimentally. Besides, the effects of the deep drawing ratio on those features were studied comparatively. In the following phase, the effects on the mentioned features of the annealing applied to deepvıı drawn parts were studied. Lastly, in the scope of the data gained from these studies, various particular points, related to critical parts of the pressured pot constructions that are manufactured by using deep drawing method, were evaluated.
