Investigation of oxidative stress and lipid profiles in cardiovascular disease

Abstract (EN)

In our study, serum MDA, TAC, nitrite + nitrate, homocysteine, B9 , B12, HDL-cholesterol, VLDL- cholesterol, LDL-cholesterol, total cholesterol and triglyceride levels of 90 patients diagnosed for vascular congestion after angio and 32 healthy people were tested. Additionally, effects of factors such as gender, age, quatelet index, smoking habit, physical exercise, dietary habits, history of families and diagnosed diseases were statistically evaluated for all the subjectsThe levels of MDA and nitrite + nitrate levels of total patient group were found to be statistically higher than of the control group (p<0.01), TAC and B12 levels were found to be statistically lower than of the control group (p<0.01). The levels of MDA of the patient group with minimal vascular damage were found to be statistically higher than of the control group (p<0.01), B12 levels were found to be statistically lower than of the control group (p<0.01). The levels of nitrite + nitrate and homocysteine of the patient group with one-vessel were found to be statistically higher than of the control (p<0.01) and B12 levels were found to be statistically lower than of the control (p<0.01The levels of MDA and nitrite + nitrate of the patient group with two-vessels were found to be statistically higher than of the control group (p<0.01), TAC levels were found to be statistically lower than of the control group (p<0.01). Also the levels of MDA and nitrite + nitrate of the patient group with three-vessels were found to be statistically higher than of the control group (p<0.01), TAC levels were found to be statistically lower than of the control group (p<0.01MDA, nitrite + nitrate and homocysteine levels of the patient group with minimal vascular damage were found to be statistically higher than of the patient group with one-vessel (p<0.01). The levels of MDA and nitrite + nitrate of the group with minimal vascular damage were found to be statistically higher than of the patient group with two-vessels (p<0.01), TAC levels were found to be statistically lower (p<0.01). The levels of MDA and nitrite + nitrate of the patient group with minimal vascular damage were found to be statistically higher than of the patient group with three-vessels (p<0.01), TAC levels were found to be statistically lower (p<0.01MDA levels of group by one-vessel were found to be statistically lower than the group with two-vessels (p<0.01), B12 and TAC levels were found to be statistically higher (p<0.01). The levels of MDA of the patient group with one-vessel were found to be statistically lower than of the patient group with three-vessels (p<0.01), TAC levels were found to be statistically higher (p<0.01). While the levels of MDA and nitrite + nitrate of the patient group with two-vessels were found to be statistically lower than of the patient group with three-vessels (p<0.01), TAC levels were found to be statistically higher (p<0.01).
