Career, one of the words used frequently in working life nowadays, is a process consisting individual?s occupational progress and works, behaviors and attitudes related with his/her postition. Career is a concept developing in the mutual responsibility and organization.There are some factors that motivate the employees and secure the permanance of them. One of these factors is the decision that the company takes regarding with the employee ? oriented career strategies. Recently; the career strategies has become a sine qua noon for the employees. For this reason, career becomes an important concept for both the business and the companies. The career strategies that the companies perform for their employees can be classified into three parts. These parts are; Career Development, career Planning and career Manegement. According to organisation culture and the desires of the employee, every company tries to conduct these strategies adapting the conditions of the present day.Whereas physical capacity is vital in workforce in ındustrial society, knowledge and capability of workforce has gained an importance in information society, thus career development activities has gained a lot importance for both individuals and organizations.In this work; career, career developing, career administration and career planning subjects are analised and some mid and large sized enterprises investigated about career planning and career development operations and related activites, in Kutahya and Kutahya Organized Industrial Zone.Chapter one there is some evaluations about career and related concepts.Chapter two career planning, career development, and career administration are analised and some necessery definations are defined.Chapter three personal and organizational utilities of career developmenr and career planning: There is an aplication investigation with corporate fiduciary from Kutahya.Keywords: Career, Career Development, Career Administration and Career Planning.
