Özet (EN)

Effect of different nutrient doses and mycorrhiza on watermelon plants growth and fruit qualities were investigated. Madera and Crimson Trio varieties were used as plant material. Natural mycorhiza numbers and some soil characters were determinated in soil samples that collected from experiment area. To investigate the relationship between mycorrhizae and P, 3 nutrient doses used in plants (Go = 0 kg/da P205 and N, Gi =5 kg/da P2O5 and 2 kg/da N and G2 = 10 kg/da P2O5 and 4 kg/da N). Trough experiment, 4 different times biomass measuring have been done and looking at root mycorrhiza infection to show the effect of mycorrhiza on the watermelon plants growth. In addition, total yield were counted and fruit quality characteristic analys were done to know fruit qualities. According to the results, using nutrient on plants were affected positively on some of plant characteristic and fruit. However, using mycorrhiza increased yield, weight of fruit, and dry plant characteristic. But mycorrhiza wasn't found very effective. Keywords: Mycorrhizae (G mosseae), Phosphorus, Watermelon, Yield, Plant Growth, Nutrient Uptake.
