Abstract (EN)

The subject of the study is Kasım Zhomart which is the narrative epic that was first published in 1896 in Kazan. The epic told about what happened to a Basraian valiant named Kasım. Jüsipbek Şeyhülislamoğlu was the person who brought the Kasım Zhomart Epic to the Kazakh Literature from the Arabic Literature with his manuscript. The epic is mostly in the form of verse and rhymes and has a harmonious structure. Firstly, a literature review was made for the study, then, the texts obtained were translated from the Cyrillic alphabet Kazakh Turkish into the Latin alphabet Kazakh Turkish, which had been translated text is translated to the Turkey Turkish. The subjects which are the social-cultural matters, the social issues and Turkey-Kazakhstan epic tradition, take part on the epic were mentioned through the translated text. As a result of this study, it aimed to bring to Turkish folk literature The Epic of Kasım Zhomart which has been included Kazakh folk literature. The transmitted and translated text will contribute to the recognition of Kazakh Turk's by Turkey Turks. Keywords: Kasım Zhomart, the narrative epic, generosity, Eb'ul- Kasım.
