Abstract (EN)
The present paper deals primarily with the prevalence of Dicrocoeliid (Trematoda: Digenea) larval stages in Xerolenta obvia Menke, 1828 (Mollusca: Pulmonata) in the vicinity of Kastamonu, Turkey. The mollusks were collected during the spring and autumn of 2016. Besides, morphological features of larval stages were studied by light and scanning electron microscopes (SEM). As a result of this study, a land snail species, X. obvia was found to be an intermediate host in the life cycle of Dicrocoeliidae and it had a prevalence of 0.78% in the study area. The prevalence value of infection was highest in April.
