Historical streets, neighborhoods, cities and civil architectural structures are worthy of tourism. Historical mansions located in rich cities in this direction such as in Kastamonu is an extraordinary opportunity to create in terms of presenting our country and traditional values in welcoming and welcoming domestic or foreign guests coming to our country for tourism. With the restoration of the mansions and tourism, it is possible to attract more domestic and foreign visitors to Kastamonu. What is important to consider at this point is that the mansions are houses that can live inside. A mansion, if there are not any inhabitants, it will slowly rot and fall down. The only thing that is destroyed is not the place itself. Because the mansions are the living spaces of the spiritual living which live the soul of the period that they live in all directions. The disappearance of the mansions and the fact that the host owners do not have enough knowledge and knowledge for the restoration process lead to the destruction of historical buildings and the loss of tourism. The purpose of the research is that an examination of the tourism potential of the mansions in the city of Kastamonu explains in detail the possibilities of re-activation and how this potential of Kastamonu mansions can be brought to tourism. The focus group is consisted of participants from public institutions, private sector representatives and non-governmental organizations. An analytical generalization has been made in the evaluation of the collected data. The collected data have been analyzed using descriptive analysis technique from qualitative data analysis approaches. As a result of the analysis, suggestions for tourism of Kastamonu mansions have been presented.
