Abstract (EN)

The fact that our country is located in the earthquake zone and the fact that buildings are built with stability is of utmost importance. As a result of the lessons learned from major earthquakes in our country in recent years, issues related to the determination of damage situations expected to occur during the earthquake impact of the existing buildings have been reviewed again. As a result of these studies, a study area based on performance-based design and evaluation emerged. Detailed information was given about determination of earthquake performances of buildings with Linear and Nonlinear methods for Turkish Seismic Code 2007 In this study, earthquake performance analysis of three different buildings designed in accordance with TS500 and Turkish Seismic Code 2007 rules using Incremental Equivalent Earthquake Load Method (AEDYY) and Nonlinear Time History Analysis (ZTADOA) were performed. The analysis results of the building systems are assessed separately for each method in terms of the effect of storey number. Moreover, the solutions obtained from the two methods for the buildings with the same storey number are compared with each other. SAP2000 program is used in the analysis.
