Abstract (EN)
Throughout the history of humanity, energy has been one of the foremost needs. The methods we have gained energy in the last century quickly pollute our planet and cannot be recycled. For this reason, humanity has turned to renewable energy sources and storage systems have become important. In addition, the fact that portable devices increase rapidly and electric vehicles take place in our lives have made energy storage systems more important. Today, Li-based battery systems are widely used in portable devices and electric vehicles. Meanwhile, researches on sodium based storage systems increasing rapidly. The electrochemically analogous and many advantages of sodium to lithium make it a very important battery materials for the future applications. Lithium ion batteries that we commonly use contain liquid electrolytes. Although liquid electrolyte batteries have been recently made quite reliable, they still have significant safety issues. Especially large-scale battery systems used for electric cars and renewable energy sources suffer from these security problems. Solid electrolytes do not reach as high ionic conductivity as the liquid additive. They appear as an important alternative to the security vulnerabilities and some performance problems caused by liquid electrolytes. At the same time, the use of solid electrolyte may increase the power density by facilitating battery packings. In this study, oxide-based NZSP was produced by solid-state reaction method and sintered at five different temperatures. Elemental analysis and microstructure of sintered samples were analyzed by FE-SEM. As a result of the EIS analysis, the ionic conductivity was tested and the ionic conductivity of the sample sintered at 1150 ° C was found to be 2.71x10-4 S cm-1. At the same time, it was found that the electrolyte did not react with Na and was stable.
