Abstract (EN)

Rubber, which is a good vibration damper, is used in many areas today, especially vehicle tires. They do not have linear behavior due to the irrepressible and hyperelastic structure of rubber materials. Therefore, the behavior of most rubber products is detected by trial-and-error method. It is very difficult to predict the mechanical behavior of rubber materials compared to metallic materials. Several material tests are needed to model rubber materials with finite elements method. With the modeling process, rubber materials can be produced in the desired characteristics during the design phase. In this way, the time loss and cost can be minimized. In this study, hyperelastic and viscoelastic modeling of a selected rubber mount was performed in the Abaqus program. Tests on rubber material were used when determining hyperelastic and viscoelastic model. After the hyperelastic material model is determined, viscoelastic modeling of the rubber mount compressed in one direction by finite elements method is obtained by viscoelastic modeling. The results of the analysis were evaluated with the tests carried out on the rubber mount and the suitability of the finite element model was checked.
