Determining the effect of roundhouse diagraming on students conceptual development, motivation and the attitude of science

The purpose of this study was determining the 7th grade students conceptual development and misconceptions on the unit "Systems in Our Body". In this content, we translate Roundhouse Diagram, Working Sheet and Check List into Turkish. The translation was verified by the autority. The research was conducted with eight 7th grade students of Özgen Primary School in Özgen Village in Şırnak Province between 2012 to 2013. The sample student's roundhouse diagrams and the work sheets was examined by content analyses and determined the misconceptions. Result of the research shows that Roundhouse Diagramming is contrbuting conceptual development, the low succes students can expres their knowledge easily by using diagrams and they become succesful by that way. Also Roundhouse Diagrams exposed the most important component of conceptual development, interval concept, and succesfully shows us misconceptions in a clear way.
