Disabled parents expectation about children's education

This research was aimed to determine the thoughts and expectations of the parents mainstreaming students about educational system. The applied part of the investigation was carried out with the parents of thirty special students who were educated in primary schools in Burdur. The semi-structured interview technique which is one of the qualitative research method was used for learning parents' expectations. Interview questions were created by researcher herself by the help of taking expert opinion. All the questions in the interview form are open-ended. The first four questions of the interview form are aimed determining the demographic characteristics of the student, belonging five question is about the expectations from the components of the education system, and the last question is for gating general information about the opinions and suggestions of the parents. Discourse analysis method was used to interpret the data. The results of the study were detaily explained with the answers of the parents. With the research, it has been reached the findings of preventing the violence, indignity and resolving the transportation difficulties via taking place of the specialists in their field in the inclusive education.
