The effect of Kayseri trades on the formation of urban identity

Kayseri is a city which is known with its special trade cultur.No where in Turkey people are addressed wİth the name of their natal city but when someone is called `?Kayserili?? it means someone who is well aware of trade life and this means someone who knows well his own profıts . hard worker , wıse and tricky.We tried to give the trade life of Kayseri which has developed under the influence of akhism and has effected the city life of Kayseri a lot as well as the culturel life , history and geographical caracteristics of KayseriKEYWORDS: Kayseri , Trade , Tradesman , Folklorism
