Transition periods in folk culture of Kazakh Turks

The welfare of a nation largely depends on how much they keep cultural heritage alive. The Kazakh Turkish community, who have a cultural diversity with their traditions, beliefs, practices, social institutions, lifestyles, ways of dressing, cuisine and other social properties, have managed to preserve and maintain this richness by conveying them to new generations over the centuries.It is well known that the social assistance and solidarity system implemented by the Kazakh Turkish people for centuries is reflected in their lifestyle and traditions. Kazakh Turkish people are trying to preserve the necessary elements and practices of their cultural values in order to maintain and transfer their traditions to future generations. In addition, historical, ethno-cultural and social values are still preserved in the spiritual wealth of the nation. Some rituals in Kazakh Turkish culture are also reflected in abundance in Shamanism and divine beliefs, according to the data obtained in our study. It is impossible to exclude rituals from the public's national identity. In this direction, the continuity and preservation of traditions and customs can be observed during the transition periods. The main focus of the study is making compilations about the transition periods, namely, birth, marriage and death practices, of the people in the region around Kazakystan, scientifically classifying and evaluating them. The study is of great importance for the preservation, maintenance and dissemination to future generations the Kazakh Turkish culture, significantly rich in terms of culture and history. It is possible to witness the effects and traces of transition period practices in almost every person living in Kazakh community. The process examined within the framework of the study lasts from birth to death. Therefore, this tradition examined within folklore discipline forms a web of relations consisting of a set of cultural values. The traditions, practices, customs, beliefs, false beliefs and other cultural properties are practiced with a private aim, and the cultural and spiritual ideasandfeelings are reflected through poems and folk songs. Therefore, this study conducted in order to specify the ideas, beliefs and cultural values of Kazakh community will be an important contribution to the field.
