Abstract (EN)
The issue of alphabet in Kazakhstan is a topic that has been discussed for a long time which is still have been on the agenda. As a result of various opinions and debates between Kazakh intellectuals and politicians in the public, the gradual transition to the Latin alphabet, which is planned and based on a long process, was signed in 2017. Accordıng to this decision, Kazakhstan completely will switch to the new Kazakh alphabet by 2025. And in this study, we will research public relations practices and public studies in the process of transition to Latin alphabet.The main purpose of the research is to determine the role of the concept of public relations in the transition to the Latin alphabet. The research will gothrough the reasons of the Kazakh state's decision to change the alphabet, including political linguistic reasons,various views about thıs subject and the development of the concept of public relations in Kazakhstan. The foundation of a state consists primarily of language, religion and politics. Therefore, the decision of the Republic of Kazakhstan to change the alphabet is one of the most important steps in the history of the state. This Latin alphabet, which aims to be closer to the modern language of science and technology, the effect of the transition to society, the state's action programs and executive studies regarding the transition, and the examination of the public policies pursued form the basis of the thesis.
