Kazakistan örneğinde eğitim ve gelir eşitsizliği

This study examines the complex relationship between education and income inequality, with the extent to which education can mitigate economic inequality. Despite the prevailing view that education is a key tool in promoting social equality, some sociologists argue that education can exacerbate social inequality by reinforcing existing social structures through various forms of capital. This thesis explores the dual nature of education, considering both its potential to reduce and perpetuate inequality. Using Kazakhstan as a case study, this study examines the impact of educational attainment on income distribution across regions, taking into account the quality and accessibility of education. Kazakhstan's unique socioeconomic context, characterized by rapid development and significant educational reforms since the collapse of the Soviet Union, provides fertile ground for analyzing the effectiveness of education in addressing income inequality. The study uses a mixed methods approach, combining quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess how education policies and regional factors influence income inequality. The results highlight the importance of not only increasing years of schooling but also improving the quality of education to promote economic equality. By breaking down the data at the regional level, the study highlights the nuances through which local economic development, infrastructure, and access to educational resources shape income inequality. This research contributes to a deeper understanding of the role of education in advancing social justice and offers policy recommendations for using education to create a more equitable society.
