Kazakistan ortaokul 7, 8, 9 edebiyat dersi kitaplarındaki Abay Kunanbayev'in metinlerinin değer iletileri bakımından incelenmesi

The aim of the literature course is to provide students with the ability to write, speak and listen, as well as to address the effective knowledge of the students through the texts in the text book and to develop their emotions, values, thoughts and behaviors. In particular, this is the period in which the secondary school students who make our study sample will meet with the literary works, comprehend them and develop the cultural world with them. In this context, text books are one of the most important and accessible course guide in the educational process. The aim of this study is to reveal different values of Abay Kunanbayev`s works in Kazakh literature textbooks. This study is important in terms of identifying values in the Abay`s works which has a great importance in Kazak culture and to analyze what kind of values are desired to be gained by students at secondary school. Although there are various studies on comparative analysis of textbooks in the literature, it is important that the comparative analysis of three different textbooks of secondary school (7,8,9th grade) has not been done before. Current study is a descriptive study which uses qualitative data analysis techniques since it describes a situation based on document analysis. The data were collected through a qualitative research method. The study document consists of three several kind of Kazak literature textbooks (7,8,9th grade) for the secondary school students in Kazakhstan.
