Verb conjugation and teaching in Kazakhstan secondary school textbooks

This study is abouttheexamination of the verb conjugation in theKazakhlanguagetextbooktaught at the 6,7 and 8. gradesecondaryschoollevel in Kazakhstan. In thisdirection, the problem sentence of theresearch is "How is the Verb Conjugationtaught in theSecondary School Kazakh Language coursebooks?" It is based on thequestion. Theaim of thelanguageandliteraturecourse is toaddressthestudents' affectiveknowledgethroughthetexts in thetextbook, as well as todeveloptheirfeelings, values, thoughtsandbehaviors, in additiontothestudents' reading, writingandspeaking-listeningskills. In thiscontext, textbooksareamongthemostimportantandaccessibleresourcesthatguidetheeducationprocess. Since thestudydescribes an existingsituationbased on documentanalysis, it is a descriptivestudyusingqualitative data analysistechniques. Documentanalysis, one of thequalitativeresearchdesigns, wasusedtocollectthe data. Theworkingdocumentconsists of Secondary School Kazakh Language textbooksapprovedbytheMinistry of NationalEducation of Kazakhstan. This research is limitedtotheSecondary School Kazakh Language coursebookapprovedbytheMinistry of NationalEducation of Kazakhstanandthe verb conjugationsubjectsused in thesebooks.
