Abstract (EN)
In this research, it has been enlightened about how plastic arts educations are prosecuted in North and South Cyprus? education intuitions. It has been informed and pointed out common points and differences of equipment, architecture of schools, staffs conditions, students? socio-economic conditions, curriculum programs and schools? lesson times. While examining schools? equipments? conditions, the aim is to point out where Turkish and Greek intuitions? position stand in modern education and to question how much advantages are taken from the developing technology in our world. The aim of observing schools? architectures is the psychological affect on students and academicians from the colour of the schools and its lighting. All the details of the schools? architecture were cited. Moreover, the findings about this issue have been examined in the result and recommendation part. The survey questions were asked by me to the both Turkish and Greek instructors. In the survey, staffs? education?s level, their employment years, their follow up of art publications, and the answers for the questions have been evaluated as the common points and differences of the plastic arts in the results part. Curriculum programmes and lessons times have been obtained from both Turkish and Greek?s Ministry of Educations? archives. These are appointed how it is reflected to the education in the analysis of the results. This research was prosecuted in 21 Turkish and Greek schools in 2005 -2006 instruction year. This research?s data were collected by a survey, interviews and observations. First of all, in the relation of plastic arts education survey questions were presented to the both Turkish and Greek instructors, students, schools? architecture and sufficiency of the schools? for the plastic arts education were observed, schools? curriculum programmes and lesson time were analysed and the budgets which both Ministry of Educations provide for the plastic arts education were also researched and data were analysed. As a result, in this research scientific result, common points and differences about plastic arts education have been mentioned.
