Özet (EN)

The Keban Thrust Zone is located 30 km northwest of Elazığ. The study includes fluid inclusion and stable isotopic studies in the calcites and quartz within the Keban Thrust Zone. The obtained data show that the homogenization temperatures (Th) are range 158 to 389 °C, ice melt temperature ( TICM ) range-5,3 to -0,1 °C, andcalculatedsalinity range 1.1 to 8.3 % NaC1equiv. Determined density values in the studied fluid inclusions are range 0.48 to 0.94 gr/cm3 .These values show that the bubble (CO2) volume in the inclusions increases, the density decreases. ẟ¹³CPDB and δ18OSMOW composition values are range +1.6 to + 3.2 ‰, 19.3 to 21.5 ‰ in the calcite samples, respectively. The lowest ẟ¹³CPDB composition value (-7.4 ‰) is determined in the aragonite samples. However, δ18OSMOW composition values of the studied all samples are range 19.3 to 21.5 ‰. The stable isotope compositions indicate that aragonites form at the late liquid stages after calcites and quartz formations due to alterations caused by heavy oxygen rich and lower temperature liquids in system. However, the obtained δ18OSMOWcomposition values show that metamorphic fluids may be infilled with secondary minerals such as calcite and quartz within Keban Thrust Zone. The range of pressure, depth and temperature values were determined using by fluid inclusion data that the studied Keban Thrust Zone might be expected to have developed within protomylonite and mylonite zones at dynamic metamorphism conditions. Key words: Keban Thrust Zone, fluid inclusion, stable isotope, mylonitic zone
