Abstract (EN)

In terms of administration, Kemah district, which is dependent on Erzincan, is located in the Upper Euphrates Basin in the eastern Anatolia region. It was established in the south of the strait formed by the Karasu River in the district of Kemah. Kemah district has Due to its geographical qualities, climate and underground and ground resources, this place had been a home to many states. Hayasa, Daiaeni/Diauehi and Urartu states were the ascendant political powers in the region in the Old Ages. The fortress and settlement areas identified in the light of the written sources and surveys found in the master thesis study "Kemah And The Surrounding Area in Ancient History" are discussed. Based on the archeological data in hand, it was determined that the Early Bronze Age, Iron Age and Medieval Age were experienced in the region.
