Abstract (EN)

In this study, with the embedded system application that can work on the vehicle, the transverse slope applied on the road, in other words, the superelevation value was measured and the places with the potential of an accident were determined. For the practice, examinations were made on the vehicle on which the study will be carried out and whether it is suitable for the thesis application or not, in-vehicle and non-vehicle factors were tried to be determined. Within the scope of the thesis, comparisons of the hardware working in the application were made and the accelerometer and gyroscope sensors with low cost and high performance were determined for the application study. It was also aimed to achieve the lowest margin of error in digital data acquisition by calibrating the determined hardware tools. The application study was carried out on the E-881, E-87 and D-300 highways from İzmir ring roads. The data obtained within the scope of the thesis were visualized by using GIS and analyzed according to other globally determined measurement analysis criteria and in the framework of standards set by Turkey Highways Institution. Findings obtained were examined in detail and some of them were shared visually.
