Measuring the quality of service in metro lines which is type of public transportation for urban life

Metro systems are the most widely accepted public transportation vehicles in the world today, which are safe, comfortable, have high carrying capacity, are economical and have a great place in urban transportation. The quality of the service provided by the metro, which has the potential to reduce the traffic problem, is an important factor for urban public transport. In today's globalizing world, organizations in all sectors face the public and customers with messages that can be expressed as "meeting and serving the expectations and needs of the society". It has become inevitable to adapt the understanding of service quality to metro systems that have an important place in urban transportation for reasons we consider above In this study, the quality of the services that the customers want to find in İzmir Metro and the qualities they need, are waiting for and are perceived are discussed.
