It focuses on how urban design techniques can be used to create a safe, comfortable, fun and aesthetically pleasing pedestrian zone. The current situation of these avenues was examined by observations and surveys on the basis of Jan Gehl's 12 Quality criteria, which are accepted in the literature. These quality criteria are scored with good (3), medium (2), weak (1) status categories and after evaluating the average score of each parameter, the current situation of the street is revealed. As a result of the studies, it was found out that these streets are below the average value as a result of the score evaluation within the 12 Quality Criteria. With redesign and improvements, additional seats, pavement repairs, green street elevations and pedestrian assistance should be carried out.
