Abstract (EN)
Tent item is one of the solutions that the individual found for the need of housing and protection as part of indirect or direct relationships that human has made with the nature since the beginning of human history. Although its intended purposes, materials and methods has changed nowadays, housing requirement in nature which is the fundamental existence reason of tent is still one of the basic components defining tent. The objective of this research is by taking tents subject to the focus understanding and analyzing the tent perception in the urban and rural people's memory and the naturalness or artificiality of the relationship established with nature accordingly. With a phenomenologicalhermeneutical solutions, space, memory, urban and rural memory concepts were discussed within the framework of the general literature. In addition to the aforementioned theoretical debates, two different samples (case study) formed under the title of urban and rural memory enables deeper resolution of the issue. Data were collected proceeding with interview, oral history and participant observation techniques as part of the urban memory with professional-amateur mountaineer groups, as part of the rural memory with the seasonal agricultural workers. At the end of the research, it can be detected that tent item as a space which is with the place-ground experienced in the context of the relationship established with nature. Professional mountaineer had natural, direct and real relationship relative to the other sample group , amateur mountaineers were in more sterilized, plastic and indirect but pleasant relations, seasonal agricultural workers were in indirect and disgruntled relations because of t he obligation.
