Works of plastic arts in the city of urban location and urban culture contribution to aesthetics (Antalya example)

Historical development of plastic art and selected 15 pieces of plastic work which is located in Antalya city, is examined in relation to social and physical environment.By the survey conducted to the city of Antalya people and foreign tourists coming to Antalya, Plastic Arts used in the city space to the views of the participants are determined about how the Plastic Arts used in the city effects the urban aesthetic and the quality of life in the city. The opinions of the artists ,who are dealing with visual arts field, are taken about this research by interviews.In this study, a total of 15 pieces of plastic art, 6 memorial statue, 5 iconic sculpture, 2 water show, 1-themed park, 1-themed exhibition, which improves the city's life quality are analyzed wih respect to the current state of design principles and design elements. In the light of this analiysis, with the plastic place relations are examined, and with the artists and the audience views, the results have been tried to put forward.
