Abstract (EN)
In this thesis, the CCD UBV observations of the open clusters King 6 and NGC 1605 were performed using the 100-cm mirror diameter T100 telescope at TÜBİTAK National Observatory. Photometric data which were converted to numerical values were used together with Gaia DR3 photometric and astrometric data. As a result of the analysis of the two open clusters, the structural, astrometric, and fundamental astrophysical parameters were determined. The analysis of the two clusters with recent Gaia DR3 data was carried out for the first time in this thesis and the astrophysics parameters were updated. To determine astrophysical parameters, independent methods were utilized as different from the literature. While this avoided possible parameter degeneration, it allowed the determination of reliable astrophysical parameters of the two clusters. In this study for the King 6 open cluster, we determined the color excess as E(B-V) = 0.515 0.030 mag, metallicity as [Fe/H] = 0.02 0.06 dex, distance and age as d = 723 38 pc and t = 200 20 Myr, respectively. For the NGC 1605 estimated color excess was E(B-V) = 0.840 0.054 mag, metallicity was [Fe/H] = 0.01 0.05 dex, distance and age were d = 3054 262 pc and t = 400 50 Myr, respectively.
