Abstract (EN)

This study was conducted during 2017-2019 using hypocotyl, inter-node, leaf, cotyledon node and two cotyledons with embryo explants obtained from quinoa plants (Chenopodium quinoa Willd.) germinated under in vitro conditions. The study compared regeneration ability of these explants on MS medium containing 0.00 (control), 0,25, 0,50, 0,75, 1,00, 1,25, 1,50, 1,75, 2,00 mg/l BAP and 0,00, 0,01 mg/l NAA (17 treatments). Only cotyledon node and two cotyledons with embryo explant induced regeneration. No shoot regeneration was noted on the rest of the explants. These shoots were rooted on 0,25 m/l IBA containing MS medium. These results will help in developing and planning future tissue culture studies on quinoa.
