Ibni İmirza el-Bolevî's translation into Turkish of Kisâî's Kisasü'l-Anbiya (1b-100b) examination-text-evaluation dictionary

In this study, which was prepared as an MA thesis, it is studied that Mustafa Efendi İbni İmirza el-Bolevî's translation into Turkish of Muhammed b. Abdullah el-Kisâî's "Kitâbu Bedi'd-Dünyâ ve Kısasü'l-Enbiyâ". The manuscript, which is elaborated in this study, is located in Suleymaniye Library, the Hüsrev Paşa section, number 444. It consists 375 pages. In the "introduction" section, the information obtained from sources about the meaning of the word "kıssa", the importance of Kısasü'l-Enbiyâ, Kisâî's life, copies of his work and the Bolevî translation were conveyed in order to give meaning to the concepts due to the characteristics of the work. In order to inform the reader, in particular, the meaning of the concept of "Kıssa" in religious literature and what it means in terms of literature has been tried to be explained. In the "text" section, the original text between the pages 1b and 100b was given and it was Latinised. In addition to the transcript, the meanings of the person, locations and concepts mentioned in the text were tried to be shown by giving footnotes. In the "evaluation" section, information is given about the individuals that AlKisâî used as a reference when writing his work. In addition, the way he gave the verses of the Qur'an, which he used as a source in his work, was examined. Besides these, the old Anatolian Turkish features seen in the translation of the work were tried to be shown. In the "dictionary" section, the Turkish descriptions of the Arabic, Persian and Old Anatolian Turkish words are given depending on the well-known dictionaries. In the "conclusion" section, we tried to show the findings made during this study. In the "sources" section, the sources used in the research are classified as books, dictionaries, articles and encyclopaedia articles.
