Abstract (EN)

Achieving person-job fit is very important in increasing organizational success. Person-job fit covers all organizational processes within the organization, starting with employee selection. In the relevant literature, it is possible to find various studies showing that ensuring this fit has an effect on the behavior and attitudes of employees. In this study, the effects of person-job fit on career commitment and self-efficacy perception were tried to be revealed. Questionnaire technique was used as data collection method in the research. The research was conducted with data collected from 210 participants working in various private companies located in the European Side of Istanbul. The data obtained were analyzed through the SPSS 21 program. As a result of the research, it was determined that person-job fit has a positive effect on career commitment. Accordingly, as the person-job fit of the employees increases, their career commitment also increases. It has been observed that person-job fit also has a positive effect on self-efficacy perception. Accordingly, as the person-job fit increases, the self-efficacy perceptions of the employees also increase. Keywords: Person-Job Fit, Career Commitment, Self-Efficacy
