Abstract (EN)
Job commitment is a factor that is considered very important for all types of organizations, whether for profit or not, in an environment of increasing competition for organizations. The reason why organizational trust is found important by researchers and managers is that it helps to have a positive impact on individuals. The commitment of a qualified workforce to the organization has become an important issue for the realization of organizational success. Personality is an element that can vary within various factors. In this respect, besides various factors affecting personality, there are also factors affected by the personality. One of them is job commitment. It has been determined that there is no study in the literature examining the effect of personality characteristics on job commitment. The aim of this study is to reach the effect of personality characteristics on job commitment. The study was initiated, considering the possibility that personality characteristics affect job commitment positively or negatively or have significiant effect on job commitment. In this context, a research was carried out within the scope of Antalya province and a questionnaire study was conducted with the participation of 481 people working in Antalya province. According to the results of the survey, it is concluded that personality characteristics have a great effect on job commitment. It has been determined that responsibility as a personality characteristics affects job commitment more than other characteristics.
