Individual benefits of individual investors and personality types related to Turkey in a nicel research

The aim of this study is to investigate whether or not the investors' trends shown by individual investors engaging in the investment activities throughout Turkey under Behavioral Finance related to the Five-Factor-Personality-Types and is to analyze which investors' trends by individuals having different personalities are shown. Investors included in this study consist of individual investors throughout Turkey. The snowball sampling has been used for this study and data has been obtained by means of survey technic. According to the data given in this study, most of the investors in Turkey have personality traits such as extroversion, compatibility, responsible, emotional stable and open for improvement. The personality traits of these investors are effective on investors' trends such as self-deception trend, cognitive trend, emotional trend, social trend, absence of self-control and loss aversion. It has been determined that the effect level of personality traits on investors' trends from high to low are as follows; compatible, open for improvement, responsible, extroversion and emotional stable.
