Özet (EN)

In this study, it was aimed to determine the effect of heat synchronization application on fertility of hair goats in breeding season. A total of 200 head hair goats were used as animal material between 3-5 years of age. The animals were divided into two groups equal, (Control group, KG, n = 100; Heat synchronization group, KS, n = 100). The KS group received intravaginal sponges containing 30 mg flugeston acetate and was removed 12 days later and injected intramuscular 500 IU of PMSG/per animal. Mating was performed using Hair bucks for 4 days. The maiting process was started at the same time in both groups and was ended after 4 days. Single birth rate was 72 % in the KG and 35 % in the KS group (P <0.01). Twice birth rate was 24 % in the KG and 62 % in the KS group (P<0.01). In terms of birth rate and infertility ratio was not found difference between the groups (P>0.05). Fecundity and litter size were 1,20 and 1,59 in the control group and 1,25 and 1,64 in the KS group, respectively. As a result, the application of heat synchronization in hair goats in the breeding season improved the fertility.
