Abstract (EN)

C. clementina is a presumed hybrid between C. aurantium (Sour orange) and C. deliciosa (mandarin). All existing cultivars of C. clementina arose from this ancestral hybrid by mutation or somatic variation without sexual recombination. It is the main variety of small easy peeler citrus cultivated in the Mediterranean Basin.Inter-specific population between C. maxima and C. clementina were used to obtain Clemantine linkage map in this thesis. 190 hybrids of Chandler pummelo x Clemenules were genotyped with 46 SSR markers. This research is a part of global collaborative project. An international collaboration was established between two French organizations (CIRAD, INRA), two groups from United States of America (UF-CREC, UCR), one Spanish institute (IVIA), INRA Morrocco and Cukurova University from Turkey. The main goal of the project is to establish the reference whole Citrus genome sequence.26 markers were successfully mapped from 46 primers in the 9 clementina linkage groups with 310 cM map size in the first part of the analysis. The data obtained from all partners were combined with our results coming from this thesis for the second part of the analysis. A genetic map constructed with 247 SSR primers coming from other partners of the project included 33 primers from the thesis. The map contains 247 markers distributed to the ten linkage groups.
