Abstract (EN)

Staphylococcus aureus is a common bacterial disease that affects both humans and animals. It causes skin infections, meningitis, endocarditis, septicemia and toxic shock syndrome. Among the 150 isolates we collected, we got 61 Staphylococcus aureus from different sources included 37(60%) including human spinal fluid, 18(29%) milk, 20(10%) sample of fish). The samples were taken from patients attended Al-Kadhimiya Governmental Teaching Hospital and some external laboratories Baghdad Governorate and marketes. Samples were diagnosed based on cultured characteristics on Mannitol salt agar medium,. microscopic examination by observing the Gram-positive spherically shaped bacterium,bacteria and biochemical tests. to increase accuracy in the diagnostic process before DNA extraction. Biofilm formation is thought to be one of the most important virulence factors that helps the survival of the organism and thus contributes to its pathogenic powers. Among 150 samples were collected only 82 isolates staphylococcus spp were staphylococcus aureus 61 isolates ; 48 was produced strong biofilm, 13 were moderate . The number of isolates produced biofilm formation were 48(78.6%)and moderate biofilm producer was 13 (21%). DNA was isolated from 61 samples S. aureus, Using the PCR technique, the eno gene was detected of the size of 302 base pairs using specialized gene primers.
