Abstract (EN)

The purpose of the present study is to investigate the organizational problems of the nurses working in clinical services and look at whether these problems vary depending on primarily the institution and some other variables.For this purpose, a questionnaire was developed and administered 208 nurses working in clinical services of four research hospitals located in the Anatolian side of İstanbul.The data obtained from the questionnaire were analyzed through SPSS 17.0 package program. In the evaluation of the reliability of the questionnaire items, Cronbach?s Alpha coefficient was used, in determination of the demographic features of the nurses, frequencies and percentages were employed, in the evaluation of the level of the nurses? organizational problems, minimum, maximum and arithmetic mean, standard deviation statistics were drawn on, in the investigation of the relationships between the dimensions constituting the organizational problems of the nurses, correlation analysis was used and finally, t-test, Anova and Tukey were employed to investigate whether the nurses? organizational problems vary depending on their demographic features.At the end of the study, it was found that the most common problems of the nurses are educational problems, and the least experienced problems are the ones stemming from organization. The problems experienced by the nurses do not significantly vary depending on age, job experience, and term of employment, yet there are some variations based on the position occupied, the institution, educational status and the level of training required by their job.
