Abstract (EN)

Comparing SMEs with large enterprises is more indispensable building blocks of all countries that can respond to a wide variety of investment with more investment and those who are employed are not the cornerstone of economic and social life. Exports are obligatory for the development of countries, for overcoming economic problems and for closing foreign trade deficits. To solve the problems that these SMEs are facing in order to deal with the problems they encounter in exporting. It can be said that SMEs, which are very important for the socioeconomic structure of the country, are not at the level of exports to Turkey. At the beginning of this deficiency is global competition, company capacity deficiency and problems in innovative development can be considered. The main purpose of working within this scope is to identify problems faced by SMEs in export performance and to implement policy proposals on the solution of these problems. In order to test the reality of the hypotheses determined for the realization of the purpose, a field survey was conducted by questionnaire on 112 companies exporting in the province of Gaziantep. In the analyzes performed, demographic factors such as number of employees, duration of activity, amount of export and firms' sub-dimensions of Export Questionnaire Perception Scale, Market General Information, Overseas Demand Conditions and Export Cost Effect were tested by Multiple Regression Analysis. The field study reveals that the findings from the end results are influential on the subscales of the Export Problems Perception Scale.
