Underwater researches in Kocaeli's Kerpe Port and its connections with the Mediterranean

Detection and scientific investigations of the remains found in small islands and bays on the Black Sea Coast of Kocaeli; To determine the historical texture of the Black Sea Coasts of Kocaeli. In the study to be carried out within the scope of Underwater Cultural Heritage, the underwater archeology history and geography of the Black Sea Coasts of Kocaeli, and all underwater archeology studies to date will be discussed. Another aim of the study is to evaluate the relationship with Black Sea (Mediterranean-Marmara and Aegean) seas and to reveal the connections between the marine cultures and maritime of the Black Sea.
