Abstract (EN)
In this research, it is aimed to examine the YouTube digital stories based on root values in terms of content characteristics (title, year of publication, type, elements, software type, scope). For this purpose, YouTube digital story videos based 173 on root values published between 2012-2021 were determined and content analysis was made with the "Digital story review matrix". As a result of the research, it was determined that the majority of the digital stories included the root value type in the title and were published between 2018-2020, and informative or instructive story types were preferred as the digital story type. In terms of the elements of the digital story, it was revealed that the majority of them had a third-person perspective, emotional content. In addition, it was seen that the majority of the digital stories were prepared within the scope of patriotism, responsibility and benevolence values. Similar studies can be conducted on different social media networks and by considering digital stories based on different values.
