Abstract (EN)
This study examines the impact of slavery practices on the feudal structures of Medieval Europe. By addressing the economic, social, and political dimensions of slavery, it analyzes its effects on labor organization, production relations, and social stratification through historical documents and relevant literature. The research explores how slave labor evolved during the Middle Ages, how the relationships between feudal lords and slaves or serfs were structured, and how these structures contributed to the continuity of the feudal system. The study also focuses on the role of slavery within the manorial system, its function in agricultural production, and its connections with ecclesiastical institutions. Ultimately, the findings reveal that slavery practices supported not only the economic foundation of medieval feudalism but also its ideological and social legitimacy.
